Job Overview

This role involves the design, development and customization of IT Service Management applications using the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in developing on this platform with a strong focus on telecom-related use cases.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Configure, customize and enhance various ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB and Service Catalog to support business needs in a telecom environment.
  • Develop and maintain workflows, Flow Designer actions, client scripts, business rules and UI policies to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement and support Telecommunications Service Management module capabilities such as service order management, fulfillment and inventory integration.
  • Build and optimize Service Portal and Agent Workspace for ITSM and telecom-specific use cases.
  • Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate telecom industry requirements into ServiceNow solutions.
  • Simplify complex integrations with third-party telecom systems and OSS/BSS platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.
  • Adhere to best practices, coding standards and ITIL-based processes to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve ServiceNow issues related to ITSM and telecom-specific applications.
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to operations teams.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in developing on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ITSM suite, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request and CMDB.
  • Familiarity with Telecoms Service Management module or telecom industry use cases.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer and UI Builder.
  • Experience in developing Service Portal and Agent Workspace applications.
  • Familiarity with integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server and IntegrationHub.
  • Understanding of CMDB design, CSDM framework and telecom-related data models.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.

Bonus Points:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or in progress.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM/TSM.
  • Experience working with telecom OSS/BSS systems and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Discovery, ITOM or ITAM modules.
