Job Overview

As a seasoned professional in testing, you have the unique opportunity to lead and manage end-to-end testing strategies for Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking implementation projects. This role is focused on delivering high-quality solutions by overseeing testing teams, defining test strategies, and ensuring compliance with project timelines and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies for FLEXCUBE implementation projects (FCUBS 11.x – 14.x).
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional testing teams across various test phases, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
  • Collaborate closely with business, development, and project stakeholders to ensure thorough understanding of requirements and effective test coverage.
  • Review and approve test plans, cases, and scenarios to validate business requirements and system design.
  • Ensure seamless defect management, root cause analysis, and closure within agreed timelines.
  • Provide timely test progress reports, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Guarantee adherence to software development life cycles, QA processes, compliance standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a graduate or postgraduate degree with at least 12 years of experience in IT testing, including 6–8 years in core banking testing projects.
  • Demonstrate proven expertise in managing large-scale testing programs for Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11.x – 14.x).
  • Proven skills in test strategy design, effort estimation, resource planning, and test execution.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations and modules such as Core Banking, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, and General Ledger.
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, APIs, REST APIs, microservices, and batch processing (advantageous for integration testing).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar) for functional and performance testing.
  • Experience in digital core transformation projects will be highly valued.
