Job Overview - Senior Test Manager

The Senior Test Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end testing strategy, planning, and execution for core banking implementation projects. This involves spearheading high-quality solutions by effectively managing testing teams, defining test strategies, overseeing execution, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the end-to-end testing strategy for FLEXCUBE implementation projects.
  • Lead testing teams across various test phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
  • Collaborate with business, development, and project stakeholders to comprehend requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Evaluate and approve test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate business requirements and system design.
  • Ensure effective defect management, root cause analysis, and closure within stipulated timelines.
  • Furnish test progress reports, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Guarantee adherence to SDLC, QA processes, compliance standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversight integration testing with third-party systems, APIs, microservices, and batch processes.
  • Support banking operations teams during mock runs, business simulation, and production cutover testing.
  • Mentor and guide the testing team, ensuring capability building and efficient resource utilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Graduate/Postgraduate with 12+ years of experience in IT Testing, encompassing at least 6–8 years in core banking testing projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale testing programs in Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11.x – 14.x).
