Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate to fill the position of Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist in our Information Technology group.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in several platforms for various financial products, creating and executing test cases to ensure our software systems meet our functional and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and update automated test cases and regression scripts, based on business requirements.
  • Test new system software versions using advanced testing tools, including functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance and regression testing on trading and financial applications.
  • Reporting and managing software issues and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss issues and report on the status of testing.
  • Follow QA standards and policies.
  • Provide estimates to help management produce an accurate schedule.
  • Maintain application versions and facilitate version upgrades in all environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in science and/or engineering.
  • 4+ years of general Quality Assurance experience with multi-tiered complex trading and/or risk management systems in the financial industry.
  • 3+ years of experience working with OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
