Job Title: Senior Analyst

Lowe's India is a hub for driving technology, business, analytics, and shared services strategy. Our team supports pricing managers and merchants in defining and optimizing the pricing strategies for various product categories across channels.

We leverage advanced analytics to forecast/measure the impact of pricing actions, develop strategic price zones, recommend price changes, and identify sales/margin opportunities to achieve company targets.

The role is responsible for developing, modeling, communicating, and tracking performance of new initiatives related to Pricing. The analyst will assist the Pricing Managers in this effort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing cluster-specific data analytics and developing dashboards, reporting & insights.
  • Researching, designing, and developing statistical approaches/models for specific business problems (Price Testing, Price Change, Post Mortem & Category review).
  • Designing and developing processes to gather, explore, structure, enrich, and clean large datasets from various internal and external sources.
  • Leveraging Item role designation (Key Value Item (KVI), Head, Core & Tail) models to develop insights.
  • Developing scalable retail test processes and frameworks for design of experiment, test v/s control testing, baseline development, assessment, and recommendations.
  • Analyzing Competitor demographics & performance for pricing across key categories.
  • Creating executive-ready presentations synthesizing multiple data sets to effect a new decision related to Pricing.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or any other Quantitative discipline, plus 3+ years' experience in an analytical role or 6+ years of relevant experience in a professional environment.
