Job Title: Business Intelligence Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems for analytics and business intelligence using AWS Glue, Lambda, and DBT.
  • Develop optimized data models in Snowflake to support scalable and performant data architectures.
  • Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring timely delivery of insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex data requirements and ensure seamless integration.
  • Implement robust data quality, consistency, and governance practices across platforms to drive trust and accuracy.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot large-scale data pipelines to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime.
  • Automate workflows and integrate data from diverse sources using advanced ETL/ELT design patterns and best practices.
  • Apply expertise in data security, cost optimization, and performance tuning on AWS and Snowflake to maximize ROI and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse and proficiency in DBT for modular data transformations.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and expertise in AWS services: Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns, data integration best practices, and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Experience with version control and a solid grasp of data governance, lineage, and security principles.
