About the Role

As a Power BI Engineer, you will be responsible for building insightful reports that transform assessment data into actionable intelligence. These reports will cater to both internal teams and external clients.

You will work with data from our Talent Measurement platform, creating visualizations that bring clarity to complex assessment results. Your role is not just about technical expertise but also about understanding business needs and designing solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business requirements and create effective solutions.
  • Design, architect, and implement warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract relevant data from various sources.
  • Merge multiple data sources into a unified repository.
  • Ensure seamless access to data for reporting purposes.
  • Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization tools.
  • Develop reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Collaborate as part of an agile team to design, develop, and maintain software.
  • Work closely with product management to prioritize and plan technical debt remediation and refactoring of data structures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Experience querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in creating and optimizing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Knowledge of database design and architecture.
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting.
  • Understanding of OLAP structures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to self-organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Teamwork and collaboration are essential aspects of this role.
