Financial Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented finance professional to manage General Ledger consolidation and Management Information System reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple business units/entities and deliver insightful MIS reports for strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely month-end and year-end GL closing activities, consolidating financial data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards (IND-AS / IFRS / US GAAP), performing inter company reconciliations and eliminating intercompany transactions, managing and maintaining chart of accounts consistency across entities, and supporting statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.

Additionally, the selected candidate will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide commentary, and provide financial insights and dashboards for business reviews and management decision-making.

The Financial Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles and identify process gaps and implement improvements in reporting and consolidation practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA) with minimum 4-5 years' experience in accounts & finance.
  • Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement automation and controls.
