Senior Business Analyst - Corporate Finance

Relevant Experience – 5 years

Role Description:

He / She will be part of the Corporate Finance Advanced Analytics team and play a pivotal role in shaping data-driven financial strategies across key business areas. As a Senior Business Analyst, the individual will lead high-impact finance-related projects, partner with senior stakeholders, and translate financial and business challenges into actionable insights through advanced analytics. This role demands strong problem-solving ability, financial acumen, and leadership in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of finance-focused analytics initiatives — from problem definition and data exploration to insight generation and presentation
  • Engage with senior finance leaders and domain experts to understand strategic financial priorities and convert them into analytics-driven questions and hypotheses
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to apply statistical models, financial forecasting, optimization, or simulation techniques to solve business and finance problems
  • Develop and present actionable recommendations using compelling data visualization, storytelling, and financial context
  • Manage analytics demand pipelines, project delivery, and strategic roadmaps across finance and business domains
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts and data scientists, and foster a culture of analytical thinking and collaboration within the finance function

Experience and Qualifications:

  • MBA or Bachelor's / Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance)
  • 5 years of relevant experience in business or financial analysis, data science, consulting, or corporate finance strategy
  • Strong understanding of statistical, financial modeling, and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, optimization, simulation)
  • Hands-on experience with analytics tools/platforms such as Python, R, SQL, and BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Proven ability to communicate complex analytical findings with financial impact to business leaders in a clear and impactful manner
  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery skills

Desired Skills:

  • Domain expertise in Corporate Finance, Supply Chain, Sales & Account Management, or Operations
  • Familiarity with business and financial performance management cycles and KPIs
  • Experience working in a global and multicultural environment
  • Professional certifications or training in analytics, data science, or related disciplines

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executives
