Job Title: Technical Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technology Strategist to support our team on a part-time basis. The architect will be responsible for designing and documenting the overall system architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs, and delivering high-quality technical documentation and diagrams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver the system architecture.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration details, and implementation guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, workflows, and data flow diagrams.
  • Collaborate with business, product, and development teams to align architecture with requirements.
  • Provide guidance on technology stack, integrations, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Review solutions and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Participate in technical discussions and provide architectural recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Technical Architect in the healthcare domain is highly valued.
  • A strong background in enterprise architecture, system integration, and cloud solutions is required.
  • Proficiency in creating architecture diagrams (UML, ERD, workflow models, etc.) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, EDI X12) is a must.
  • Familiarity with data security and healthcare compliance frameworks is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly are required.
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision is a plus.
