We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Desktop Architect to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge virtual desktop solutions.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end virtual desktop architectures by analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and creating scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

Integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services to provide a comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solution.

Configure and manage Azure virtual machines, session hosts, virtual networks, and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments. Ensure proper image management, user profile management, and application delivery mechanisms.

Design and implement identity and access management strategies, including integration with Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls for virtual desktop environments.

Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers to ensure secure and efficient data transfer.

Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance, scalability, and user experience. Monitor and tune resource allocation, load balancing, and network bandwidth to ensure optimal performance.

Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.

Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss. Create redundancy mechanisms, backup strategies, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity.

Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure. Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems to maintain a stable and reliable environment.
