Product Management Role Job OverviewWe seek a skilled Product Manager to spearhead the development, testing, launch, and lifecycle management of our hardware product lines. This position focuses on managing hardware products from concept to end-of-life, emphasizing collaboration with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate new hardware product opportunities in line with market trends and company sustainability goals.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer feedback collection to inform product priorities.
  • Translate concepts into clear product requirements and business cases.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ideation & Strategy
  • Own and manage Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), technical specifications, and feature roadmaps.
  • Partner with R&D and engineering on design, prototyping, and functional testing.
  • Oversee compliance, certifications, and industry standards.
  • Ensure robust quality assurance and performance benchmarks before release.
Documentation & Technical Content
  • Oversee creation of technical specification sheets, installation manuals, and support materials.
  • Ensure all product documentation is accurate, user-friendly, and compliant with regulations.
Pre-Launch & Launch Execution
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Lead pilot testing, collect and analyze user feedback, and refine go-to-market strategy.
  • Support technical training for internal teams and external partners.
Lifecycle Management
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and profitability post-launch.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage product versioning updates.
  • Lead product end-of-life (EOL) strategy, ensuring smooth transition or replacement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Product Design, or related field (master's preferred).
  • 8–10 years of product management experience in hardware / physical product industries.
  • Preferred background in EVs, automotive, lighting, or controls.
  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic components, compliance, and safety standards.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) a plus; proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Office / Google Suite required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with market perspective.
