Enterprise Data Strategist Role

SAP Datasphere is a cutting-edge platform that empowers organizations to drive data-driven decision making. As an Enterprise Data Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy and driving business growth.

Job Description:

This exciting opportunity involves leading the implementation and integration of SAP Datasphere with enterprise systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing end-to-end solution architecture, migrating legacy warehouses to Datasphere, and designing harmonized data views.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop Solution Architecture: Create comprehensive solution architecture for SAP Datasphere implementation, integrating it with enterprise systems.
  2. Migrate Legacy Warehouses: Lead migration strategy from SAP BW/4HANA and legacy warehouses to Datasphere.
  3. Design Data Models: Develop enterprise data models, semantic layers, and harmonized data views to enhance data quality and accessibility.
  4. Implement Governance: Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance within Datasphere.
  5. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with CXOs, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define a scalable data roadmap.
  6. Provide Technical Leadership: Offer technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in data warehousing, data integration, and analytics. A strong understanding of SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, and HANA modeling is essential.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12+ years of experience in data warehousing, data integration, and analytics.
  • Minimum 8+ years hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere (or early adopters with strong BW/4HANA to Datasphere migration experience).
  • Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA modeling, SQL, and data architecture.
  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale data strategy and transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP services, APIs, and cloud integration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and BI reporting tools.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Professional certifications like CDP or CBIP are a plus.
