Cloud Data Architect Job

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Data professional to spearhead our data-driven transformations.

This role requires expertise in designing scalable architectures, guiding technical teams, and enabling enterprise-wide data insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategy, implementation, and optimization of Cloud Data capabilities to unlock customer insights and power intelligent engagement across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end Cloud Data solutions.
  • Develop data models, ingestion strategies, identity resolution, harmonization, and activation of unified customer profiles.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable Cloud Data solutions.
  • Manage data governance, security, and compliance across multiple data sources.
  • Integrate Cloud Data with Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, MuleSoft, Tableau, and external data platforms.
  • Provide guidance on AI/ML use cases, Data Cloud + Agentforce/Data Cloud + Einstein GPT integrations.
  • Mentor and lead a team of Cloud professionals including admins, developers, and data engineers.
  • Define best practices for data ingestion, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming pipelines.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and data teams to align Cloud initiatives with overall data strategy.
  • Ensure performance tuning, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of Cloud implementations.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Cloud platform experience with at least 3+ years dedicated to Cloud Data/Customer Data Platform (CDP).
  • Proven expertise in Cloud architecture, data integration, and enterprise solution design.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming (Kafka, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, identity resolution, consent management, and profile unification.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and data harmonization techniques.
  • Experience integrating Cloud Data with AI tools, Data Cloud + Marketing Cloud activation, and personalization journeys.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
