Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our delivery/project team, you will play a leading role in shaping and directing solution developments for global platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and communicate solution architectures that meet the needs of global delivery teams.
  • Produce architecture designs that adhere to standard strategies and practices.
  • Maintain and support core platform frameworks and guardrails.
  • Consider organisation process and service changes in addition to technology solutions.
  • Balance solutions using time and cost as factors.

You will engage with various stakeholders at different levels to ensure all aspects of the solution are fully considered and agreed. The successful candidate will have experience in building good relationships across the technology team and within the wider business.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience understanding and interpreting business processes and finding the right technology fit.
  • Awareness and knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, C4, UML, SysML.
  • Knowledge of and experience in using Object Oriented Analysis and Design and the Unified Modelling Language.
  • Experience of working within a software delivery lifecycle as part of multiple project teams.
  • Emotional intelligence and empathy.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in technology and emerging trends, with a strong background in software development and architecture. They will be able to identify, escalate and manage risks, issues and actions, and have a strong awareness of IT Data Security standards.
