About the Role:
This position involves managing shopper and driver shift schedules, planning and optimizing routes for drivers, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records of dispatch activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery or pickups while considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and customer locations.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience with routing and dispatching in Onfleet or a comparable software
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience in Ecommerce Operations in a product-based company; start-up experience preferred
- An analytical, rules-based mindset
- Flawless written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English and strong mastery of proper grammar
- Ability to work comfortably with speaking on the phone daily with other team members
- High typing speed (60+ WPM) as excessive chat communication will be required
- Extreme comfort and proficiency in working with computers, with the ability to multi-task with several software applications simultaneously
- Quick learning skills, with the ability to grasp new concepts and technical instructions
- Expertise in understanding Google Maps
- Self-motivation, with a passion for discovering/solving user problems
- Able to ruthlessly prioritize and get things done
