Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage import cargo operations, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, and customs officials for smooth cargo clearance and delivery.
- Prepare and process import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Monitor and track shipment status, ensuring timely updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Resolve operational issues and liaise with internal teams to maintain service quality.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade policies.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on cargo movement and operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in cargo operations, specifically import handling.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes, shipping documentation, and logistics procedures.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
