HVAC Systems Design Specialist

As a professional in the field of MEP and HVAC design engineering, you will be responsible for performing heat load calculations and cooling load estimations as per ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards. You will also design and select chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment.
You will prepare HVAC system layouts (ducting, piping, controls) using AutoCAD / Revit, develop BOQ, technical specifications, design reports, tender documents, and equipment data sheets.
Additionally, you will manage documentation, submittals, and approvals with clients and consultants, coordinate with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), architects, and contractors for project integration.
Review vendor proposals and conduct technical evaluations, support value engineering, energy efficiency improvements, and system optimization.
Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning stages.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Membership or certification from ASHRAE/ISHRAE is an added advantage.
