We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our financial services operations in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of finance-related services to our distribution business across multiple African markets.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage outsourced teams and drive process standardization, automation, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent will also be responsible for establishing robust KPI dashboards and governance routines, monitoring performance on a regular basis, including SLAs to drive compliance to agreed metrics.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a matrix organization with cross-border reporting lines, and possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. They will be comfortable interacting with senior leadership and international teams, and will have a high resilience, problem-solving ability, and capacity to drive change in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage Financial Services Teams: Oversee the operation of our India-based shared services center, ensuring high-quality delivery of core finance processes.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Develop and implement strategies to standardize, automate, simplify, and continuously improve our financial services processes.
  • Establish Governance Routines: Create and maintain robust KPI dashboards and governance routines, monitoring performance on a regular basis, including SLAs to drive compliance to agreed metrics.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party service providers supporting our financial services operations.
  • Build High-Performing Teams: Lead and develop a high-performing team within the Shared Services center, ensuring succession planning and talent development.
  • Oversee Audits and Compliance: Oversee statutory and internal audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting for our vertical.
  • Implement Risk Management Frameworks: Develop and implement risk management frameworks to ensure the integrity of our financial services operations.
