About this Role:
We seek a seasoned and proactive professional to oversee day-to-day operations of facilities. Ideal candidate will ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained workplace, while managing vendors, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee building maintenance, housekeeping, security, and administrative support services.
- Ensure electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and other utilities are operational and compliant.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Vendor & Contract Management involves:
- Managing third-party vendors for security, housekeeping, repairs, and other services.
- Negotiating and managing contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery.
- Tracking vendor performance and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
Compliance & Safety responsibilities include:
- Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance (fire safety, health & safety, environmental laws).
- Maintaining updated licenses, AMC records, and audit documentation.
- Conducting regular safety drills and compliance checks.
Space & Resource Management includes:
- Planning and optimizing office space utilization.
- Overseeing seating allocation, workstation setups, and space planning for new hires.
- Coordinating office relocations, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades.
Budget & Reporting involves:
- Preparing and monitoring facility budgets, ensuring cost optimization.
- Tracking facility expenses, vendor payments, and inventory.
- Maintaining MIS reports and presenting facility performance metrics to management.
People & Service Management requires:
- Leading the facility operations team and providing training and guidance.
- Handling escalations related to office services, security, or maintenance.
- Ensuring a high-quality work environment that supports employee productivity.
Requirements:
- A degree in Facilities/Operations/Business Administration is preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in facilities, operations, or administration.
- Strong knowledge of facility management best practices, vendor management, and compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of facility management software is a plus.
