Business Development Manager

The role of a Business Development Manager is to identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow business by developing strategic relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. The incumbent will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, driving periodical BTL activations, generating referral forms from prospect customers to expand the prospect base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 4-5 FLS to achieve sales targets.
  • Drive top-of-funnel growth by implementing various digital marketing strategies and engaging with prospects across multiple social media platforms.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing customers and lead generation channels to increase sales revenue.
  • Collaborate with customers to tailor-make recommendations based on their profiles, ensuring seamless policy issuance processes.
  • Monitor and track prospect information and performance on the Lead Management System (LMS) or VYMO.
  • Verify that all procedural requirements for policy issuance are met and correct.

Educational Qualifications: Minimum Graduate degree.

Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years' work experience in life insurance sales management, retail bank distribution, co-operative bank channel management, or DSA relationship.
