Our team is seeking a highly skilled Product Launch Coordinator to lead and manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the transition from design to production, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive timely closure of engineering changes.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Interpret and maintain engineering drawings/documents to translate into procurement and production requirements.
  2. Transform product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs with OEM partners.
  3. Create and maintain assembly documentation, such as SOPs and APBs.
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for Engineering Change Management (ECM), implement changes in production, and drive timely closure.
  5. Prepare, update, and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products and create part numbers for components.
  6. Monitor End-of-Life (EOL) status of products and plan accordingly.
  7. Track and manage obsolescence of components, particularly electrical items, and proactively alert the engineering team when required.
  8. Coordinate development project status from prototype to mass production phases within Acsys and with OEM-partners.
  9. Verify and ensure all NPI-specific information/documents are released on JIRA/Confluence.
  10. Manage data integrity within Jira/Confluence and make it available to OEM-partners.
  11. Support and participate in ISO audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  12. Lead pilot builds, quickly resolve issues, and establish repeatable processes for production scaling.
  13. Collaborate with product, design, supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time and seamless product launches.
  14. Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  15. Possess knowledge of product certification requirements such as EN, FCC, CE, and PESO.
  16. Report to SCM.
