**Job Title:** ServiceNow ITAM (HAM/SAM) Implementation Specialist

**Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled professional to manage and optimize the IT asset lifecycle using the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain the ServiceNow HAM module for accurate tracking of hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal.
  • Manage asset requests, approvals, deployments, and returns by establishing effective workflows.
  • Maintain an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for hardware assets to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Develop asset audit processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Software Asset Management (SAM):
  • Configure and maintain the ServiceNow SAM module for efficient software license management.
  • Track and manage software licenses, subscriptions, and usage across the organization to avoid audit risks.
  • Optimize software spending by identifying unused licenses and ensuring efficient allocation.
  • Generate compliance and usage reports for stakeholders and audits.
General Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage ITAM/ITOM dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to provide insights into asset performance.
  • Contribute to process design for Global Asset Management aligned with industry frameworks and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement asset management processes and solutions.
  • Monitor and resolve integration issues with other IT systems.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports for hardware and software assets.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on HAM/SAM processes and tools.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow features and best practices for HAM and SAM.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Asset Management.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM and SAM processes & modules
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially asset and configuration management.
  • Experience with CMDB configuration and management.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Scripting skills in JavaScript and other relevant languages for custom development.
  • Configuration and customization of SAM and HAM modules to meet organizational needs.
  • Integration of ServiceNow with external systems via REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models (e.g., perpetual, subscription, SaaS).
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow administration, including workflow configuration and customizations.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
