Job Role

• Collaborate with the asset management team to oversee day-to-day operations of existing assets, ensuring timely monitoring and execution of cash flows, performance tracking, risk management, and partnership coordination.

• Play a key role in portfolio onboarding, overseeing reporting and analytics preparation, and communicating status updates throughout the investment lifecycle.

• Work closely with the asset management team and external partners to review performance data, identify value enhancements, and implement strategic improvements.

• Coordinate lender reporting, loan covenants, and credit agreements with internal and external teams.

• Outline critical terms in real estate transactions, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing risks.

• Drive operational efficiencies and information flow within internal and external teams.

• Oversee funding and distribution activities with internal and external teams.

Real Estate Technology Expertise

• Collaborate with the technology team and third-party consultants to lead high-priority real estate technology implementation initiatives.

• Review chart of account mappings to ensure accurate financial statements during implementation and new deal onboarding.

• Assist in managing third-party workflows, leveraging expertise to enhance productivity.

• Analyze financial statements using dynamic portfolio management tools, providing actionable insights for informed decisions.

• Review budget-to-actual outputs from real estate portfolio management tools, enabling data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in asset management or related fields (Real Estate / Loans / Structured Products).

• Strong accounting knowledge (US GAAP & IFRS) with advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.

• Demonstrated financial and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of key investment performance drivers.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Proven ability to cultivate trust and build partnerships with various counterparts.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of third-party databases such as Yardi, Argus, CoStar, Real Page, Bloomberg, Alteryx, Tableau etc.

• Hands-on experience with VBA macros, enhancing automation capabilities.

Academic Qualifications

• CPA / CFA / MBA or equivalent qualification in accounting and finance from a reputable institution.
