Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled E-commerce Automation Lead to lead and manage QA and automation teams for large-scale e-commerce projects.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of professional QA and automation experience, including team leadership. Strong Magento expertise and a proven track record of delivering measurable QA results in automation and performance testing are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage QA and automation teams for large-scale e-commerce projects.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for both web and mobile applications.
  • Oversee QA processes for Magento and other customized e-commerce platform integrations.
  • Perform performance testing using JMeter to identify and optimize bottlenecks.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools like BrowserStack.
  • Design and execute API testing workflows using Postman.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
  • Manage defect tracking and reporting via Jira.
  • Implement best practices in test automation, regression testing, and continuous integration (CI).
  • Mentor and train QA team members on tools, processes, and automation frameworks.
  • Optional: Conduct functional and integration testing for NetSuite modules.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years of professional QA and automation experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong Magento expertise (or similar e-commerce platforms with customized codebases).
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable QA results in automation and performance testing.
  • Hands-on expertise with:
    • Automation: Selenium
    • Performance Testing: JMeter
    • Cross-Browser Testing: BrowserStack (or similar)
    • API Testing: Postman
    • Test Management: Jira
    • Mobile/WMS Testing: iOS & Android

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with NetSuite-related testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
