Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of E-Commerce Platform Engineering to lead the development of our India Development Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the architecture and technical strategy for scalable e-commerce platforms serving both B2B and B2C customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the technical vision for our e-commerce platforms
  • Leverage your expertise in software engineering to guide architectural decisions and drive engineering excellence
  • Collaborate with global product and design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
  • Mentor and guide teams of engineers in building performant, secure, and modular systems for web and mobile applications

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 14-18 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 12 years in leading teams
  • A strong background in the e-commerce domain, with experience handling teams of 30+ and guiding them in building scalable systems
  • A deep understanding of platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes
