Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential for this role.
  • You should have experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and legacy on-prem system securities.
  • Knowledge of network security, including VPNs, VLANs, and network segmentation is crucial.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., Coverity, Veracode, AquaSec for containers) is also necessary.
  • You should have working knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) is vital.
  • Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys) is also required.
  • You should have understanding of the use of security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Knowledge of endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions is also needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorisation is essential.
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, Splunk, SIEM, and endpoint protection is also necessary.
  • You should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find practical solutions to complex security issues.
  • Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and deliver results under tight deadlines is crucial.
