Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect our systems and data.

Responsibilities:
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of disaster recovery compliance requirements.
  • Exposure and Knowledge Building: Gain exposure to information security and disaster recovery programs, focusing on building knowledge and experience in business continuity and disaster recovery services.
  • Compliance Understanding: Understand disaster recovery compliance requirements within established standards and guidelines.
  • Application Team Collaboration: Collaborate with application teams to assist in developing complete and high-quality disaster recovery planning assessments.
  • Strategic Planning: Engage in strategic planning to improve and mature disaster recovery programs.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support by performing activities such as developing understanding of DRP assessments and exercise assessment templates.
  • Training and Awareness: Manage training and awareness campaigns, design, develop, and execute IT disaster recovery awareness campaigns and associated training to ensure compliance and quality of materials produced.
  • Compliance Reporting: Generate reports on DR compliance metrics by performing daily system operational audits.
  • Issue Investigation: Investigate issues and escalate as appropriate to support effective resolutions.
  • Audit Checks: Conduct audit checks, review completed DRP assessments and exercise assessments, assign risk based on assessment review findings, re-audit previously reviewed plans with assigned risks, and conduct review meetings with plan respondents to provide appropriate guidance.
  • Internal Customer Support: Assist IT teams in developing clear, concise, and executable plans for recovery to ensure resiliency, investigate recovery plan resiliency issues and gaps, escalate as appropriate, track and manage remediation of risks and deficiencies identified during audits, and provide guidance and best practices in planning for exercises.
  • Customer Inquiries: Handle internal customer inquiries and concerns received via various channels related to OneTrust GRC platform, Disaster Recovery Plan Assessments, general DR policies, and DR best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Information Security role and/or Information security certification (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISM, GSEC, CBCP - Certified Business Continuity Professional).
