Job Description

This role involves leading the financial strategy and leadership of a group. It requires developing and executing financial plans aligned with business goals, advising on financial planning and risk management, and monitoring and analysing financial performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute the group's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning and risk management.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance and industry trends.
Accounts & Financial Management
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial controls and accounting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and accounting standards.
Fundraising and Investor Relations
  • Lead fundraising efforts to achieve the company's targets.
  • Manage existing investors' relations and lead team efforts to secure new equity and debt investors.
Banking & Treasury Management
  • Manage banking relationships and credit facilities.
  • Optimize working capital and cash flow management.
  • Ensure effective treasury operations and hedging strategies.
Audit & Compliance
  • Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits to ensure zero non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with auditors for process improvements.
  • Establish and monitor internal control frameworks to safeguard assets.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes.
  • Optimize tax strategies to minimize liabilities while remaining compliant.
Investments & Capital Management
  • Evaluate investment opportunities for ROI and strategic alignment.
  • Manage portfolio investments, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing finance teams.
  • Promote a culture of financial discipline and operational excellence.
