Project Governance Lead

The primary objective of this role is to establish a structured and efficient project management office (PMO) that enables streamlined software project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence.

This involves working closely with senior leadership to create a lean and agile approach to project governance, aligning with business goals while maintaining agility.

The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, possessing the confidence to lead without ego, a strategic mindset to optimize processes, and empathy to support teams in achieving their best work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the PMO, optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive global cross-functional execution and collaboration, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among teams.
  • Develop and implement Agile and Lean practices from scratch, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Large Action Models (LAMs) for enhanced workflow automation and strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO leadership, preferably in a software or technology-driven company.
  • Deep understanding of software development, product lifecycle management, and operational execution.
  • Experience establishing Agile, Lean, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices from the ground up.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project and collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, Miro.
