About the Role:

Our organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to spearhead supply chain management, vendor oversight, procurement initiatives, and inventory optimization strategies.

  • Develop effective procurement plans that align with business objectives.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to secure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Monitor market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services by collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize turnover to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and preferences.
  • Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes through negotiation and problem-solving.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations relevant to procurement and supply chain management.

Skill sets:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, operations, and procurements principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
