Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to lead our procurement, logistics, and international trade operations. As the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient import of raw materials and export of finished goods.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies for sourcing raw materials from domestic and international suppliers;
  • IDentifying, evaluating, and onboarding global suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery;
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and long-term agreements with suppliers to optimize supply chain costs;
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards;
  • Monitoring market trends, geopolitical risks, and supply disruptions to develop risk mitigation strategies;
  • Overseeing the end-to-end import process, ensuring timely customs clearance and cost-effective transportation;
  • Managing all export logistics, ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations;
  • Optimizing freight and shipping strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency;
  • Collaborating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to ensure smooth operations;
Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement & Vendor Management:
    • Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement procurement strategies for sourcing raw materials from domestic and international suppliers.
    • Supplier Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
    • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term agreements with suppliers to optimize supply chain costs.
    • Supplier Compliance: Ensure supplier compliance with quality, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
  • Import & Export Management:
    • Import Process: Oversee the end-to-end import process, ensuring timely customs clearance and cost-effective transportation.
    • Export Logistics: Manage all export logistics, ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
    • Freight Optimization: Optimize freight and shipping strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
  • Logistics & Distribution:
    • Inbound Logistics: Manage inbound logistics, ensuring smooth transportation of raw materials.
    • Outbound Logistics: Manage outbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods to global markets.
  • Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management:
    • Demand Forecasting: Ensure accurate demand forecasting to maintain optimal inventory levels.
    • Inventory Control: Implement systems and processes for real-time inventory tracking and control.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Risk Mitigation: Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions, currency fluctuations, and trade barriers.
    • Supplier Audits: Implement supplier audit programs to ensure ethical sourcing and regulatory compliance.
  • Cost Optimization & Process Improvement:
    • Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in procurement, logistics, and trade operations.
    • Process Efficiency: Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Team Building: Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team, including procurement, logistics, and compliance professionals.
    • Culture Development: Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and innovation within the supply chain function.
