Financial Manager Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of finance operations, regulatory compliance, and cost control practices relevant to the logistics and supply chain sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Manage timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and reconciliations.

Financial Compliance & Controls:

  • Establish and monitor financial controls and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

Taxation & GST:

  • Ensure timely and accurate GST filing, reconciliation, and compliance.
  • Oversee TDS, income tax filings and handle tax assessments or notices.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws applicable to logistics and freight sectors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in finance, preferably with experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and income tax laws.
  • Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or ZOHO systems.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership qualities, and communication skills
