Fund Accounting Role

Job Description:

  • Perform and review daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fund accounting functions as assigned.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to complete various tasks.
  • Timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks is the responsibility of the selected candidate.
  • The status of aged and significant-sized breaks will be monitored, and stakeholders will be followed up with for timely resolution.
  • The primary reviewer and quality assurance of team deliverables will be done by the selected candidate.
  • Calculation, booking, and reviewing of deal-wise fees like management, incentive/carry etc. will be handled by the selected candidate.
  • End customer satisfaction and process efficiency are key performance indicators (15% weightage).
  • Informing clients about expected delays and reasons along with a plan of action is essential.
  • Achieving deliverables within defined timelines and maintaining expected quality for clients is crucial.
  • Participating in calls/meetings between team, client, and CRM to set expectations right and document the same is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of various applications used to complete tasks is required.
  • Root cause analysis of problems and escalation to the manager as needed is important.
