Senior Investment Fund Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in alternative investment funds to fill this key role. As a Senior Investment Fund Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert for analyzing fund-level agreements between general partners and limited partners.

You will oversee the accuracy and reliability of data extracted by our AI platform from various legal documents, including LPAs, side letters, and other relevant agreements. This involves:

  • Human-in-the-Loop Oversight: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of AI-extracted data with industry standards.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Utilize your understanding of alternative investment funds, LPAs, and side letters to identify critical data points and legal provisions necessary for regulatory compliance, reporting, and operational requirements.
  • Quality Assurance and Data Validation: Develop quality control protocols and validation checklists for legal document data extraction.
  • Feedback and Iterative Improvement: Collaborate with AI developers and product teams to relay findings, common error patterns, and areas for algorithmic improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or paralegal role with substantial exposure to alternative investment funds.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning workflows, or legal technology platforms is desirable but not required.
