Business Operations Specialist

The role of Assistant Manager involves being the bridge between financial planning and controllership teams to ensure seamless data exchange and cost optimization.
Job Overview:This position requires a strong understanding of business operations, cost drivers, and organizational functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills to develop trends and insights that inform strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop in-depth knowledge of business metrics, cost structures, and operational performance.
- Establish and improve processes for new initiatives and existing ones, focusing on governance and cost efficiency.
- Prepare, manage, and publish business scorecards and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Conduct MIS reconciliation and monthly close process.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including Controllership and Business Finance teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of weekly dashboards for regular reviews.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support for various projects as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of post-CA experience; CA qualification is mandatory.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and good business acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
- Previous FP&A experience is desired, especially in a start-up environment.
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
