Senior Data Architect Job Description

A senior data architect leads large-scale data engineering, integration and warehousing projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction to the software development team.
  • Develop a robust software development strategy aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with product management to define software requirements and priorities.
  • Lead the software development team in creating technical design specifications and architecture.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Monitor and analyze software development metrics and KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proven experience (minimum 7+ years) in a senior leadership role within software development.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical expertise in software architecture and modern software development languages.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

As a senior data architect, you will be responsible for leading data engineering, integration and warehousing projects. This includes providing strategic direction to the software development team, developing a robust software development strategy, collaborating with product management to define software requirements and priorities, leading the software development team in creating technical design specifications and architecture, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and coding standards, and monitoring and analyzing software development metrics and KPIs.
