Job Title: Chief Procurement Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Procurement Officer to lead our procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of procurement professionals in planning, sourcing, and negotiating contracts with vendors.

  • Pan India Carrier Rate Negotiations:

  • Negotiate rates with shipping lines and vendors for FAKs and ODCs.

  • Rate Procurement:

  • Procure DDU/DDP rates from the network.

  • RFQs and Customer Quotations:

  • Handle RFQs and customer quotations.

  • Business Growth:

  • Drive successful conversions and business wins through shipment planning and booking.

  • Customer Service:

  • Provide extended customer service as part of the procurement team, ensuring GDP and CTPAT compliance.

Requirements
  • Qualifications:

  • Strong educational background in a relevant field such as supply chain management, logistics, or commerce.

  • Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement leadership roles.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Tech Skills:

  • Familiarity with procurement software and technology.
