Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process optimization team. This is a key role that will involve driving process improvements and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the P2P team, focusing on supplier satisfaction and process efficiency. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to understand their changing business needs and develop strategies to meet them.

You will also leverage your experience to build and maintain efficient delivery architectures, drive business results, and collaborate with the Transformation team to identify and execute new ideas, including smart automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of day-to-day P2P operations to deliver predictable output and oversee key business metrics like aging and supplier escalations.
  • Actively engage with senior client stakeholders to understand the ever-changing business needs.
  • Leverage your experience to proactively build and maintain an efficient and effective delivery architecture to drive business results in line with client's prioritized objectives.
  • Challenge the status quo to constantly discover process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Transformation team to identify and execute new ideas, including smart automation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • MBA in Finance or qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) with rich experience in a similar role.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics optimize Operations.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven understanding of P2P concepts, processes, key controls, and ability to manage a large team in a remote environment.
  • Exposure in a large scale, complex Manufacturing environment with an understanding of business life cycle.
  • Passionate about solving problems, and tenacity to develop ideas in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – ability to interact with and influence global audience.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results.
  • Open minded with ability to encourage people, question status quo and challenge the team to do better everyday.
  • Attention to detail, ability to connect the dots and ask intelligent questions.
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies used in I2P processes and application thereof will be a big plus.
Salary Range

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
