Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume a Senior Business Consultant role. As a key member of our team, you will provide industry and functional advice and troubleshooting in the discovery workshop, design, implementation, testing, and production support of solutions for business needs.

  • Presents the solution to users
  • Supports the deliverables of Technical Consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions as directed by Product Manager
  • Consults with users to determine business requirements and work processes to be addressed by one or more areas of the solution

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in one or more areas of Product configuration and in one or more energy commodities. They will also provide guidance to professionals in one or more functional areas of the solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume hands-on project duties in all phases of the implementation, reporting to the Project Manager
  • Gather and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project as determined by the Project Manager and Lead Professional
  • Maintain full chargeability on client account(s) as assigned

The role requires strong knowledge of Trading and Risk concepts, including experience with both physical and financial instruments. Additionally, the candidate should have implementation experience with invoicing and settlements, contracts and confirms, cash flow reporting, and interfacing with ERP for A/R and A/P.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting installations in client environments
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Ability to work as part of a project team structure
  • Ability to work onsite at client locations
