Job Title:

Site Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Site Operations Manager is a leadership position responsible for implementing and driving the site master plan. This includes setting objectives, leading change management processes, and maintaining alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the site operations master plan to drive business performance.
  • Set clear objectives and priorities and lead the change management process.
  • Maintain alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating with departments.
  • Lead and support departments in implementing best practices to meet their goals.
  • Coach managers to develop teams to achieve performance results.

People Management:

  • Demonstrate leadership skills to develop team capabilities.
  • Ensure effective implementation of training and development programs.
  • Coordinate training and evaluation programs to maintain consistency and alignment.

Focused Improvement:

  • Provide expert leadership and coaching to operational teams.
  • Participate in and lead improvement projects using DMAIC methodology.
  • Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Engage in daily operational review meetings to analyze performance improvement opportunities.
  • Practice maturity assessments to develop and implement a practice maturity improvement strategy.

Team Meetings & Communications:

  • Implement regular communications to drive engagement and momentum.
  • Support task forces and shift-based teams in their deployment.
  • Define and establish the site leadership team's schedule to support deployment.
