Job Summary:

  • To drive business excellence through process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking across the organization.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and a Centre of Excellence to build a continuous improvement environment, supporting manufacturing transformation and facilitating World Class Manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain better value and efficiency through complexity elimination and identification of better working methods.
  • Develop and implement a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy.
  • Owning change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification to project delivery via internal governance and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing a standard world-class manufacturing framework across plants.
  • Working with team members and business services to devise new support materials based on revised processes.
  • Monitoring project risks to foresee potential problems and identifying proactive solutions.
  • Ensuring business impact and project objectives are identified, reported, and managed at all times.
  • Setting up programs, delivering coaching, and running projects across plants.
  • Completing post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and identifying improvements for future projects.
  • Improving efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites.
  • Implementing lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.
  • Taking ownership of change initiatives from evolution to project delivery.
  • Supporting plant teams in benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Supporting Operations in policy deployment and cascading KPIs and KRAs.
  • Conducting risk assessments of processes and tasks.
  • Ensuring ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
  • Couching and facilitating teams to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Managing cross-functional team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.
  • Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts, including Six Sigma and Lean.
  • Strong analytical, project, and product management skills.
  • Ability to set up and lead service improvement workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience in designing or implementing continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Hands-on implementation experience of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions.
