Real Estate Law Manager for Plot Acquisition

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Law Manager to lead our plot acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of land law and be able to navigate complex legal frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with Land Scouts/Brokers for effective land acquisition
  • Conduct surveys of plot locations to ensure accurate documentation
  • Determine boundary fixings of plots to ensure precise property ownership
  • Attend to conveyance matters, ensuring smooth property transfer
  • Manage Municipal assessment matters, adhering to local regulations
  • Gather tenant information, including Voters ID, Ration Card, etc.
  • Create documents for tenants' purchases, society redevelopment, plots/flats
  • Search and verify property titles at various government offices/courts
  • Execute deals independently for new acquisitions
  • Prepare weekly reports on acquisition status
  • Search for documents related to acquisition at courts/government offices/solicitor offices
  • Coordinate between solicitors, advocates, legal consultants
  • Oversight of land survey with demarcation
  • Due diligence of lands and structuring of deals
  • Draft/negotiate/review documentation for tenanted/governmental schemes
  • Vetting/execution of documents (Agreement for Sale, Lease Agreement, etc.)
  • Interaction with Legal, Liaison, Security, Architects, Consultants, Govt Authorities, Clients, Vendors, Land representatives and Management

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of real estate law and regulations
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Experience in land acquisition, conveyancing, and due diligence
  • Proficiency in document preparation and review
