Job Opportunity: Visionary Leader

The Vice President of Technology and Innovation will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of student and faculty experience application landscapes, organizational information systems, IT support and infrastructure systems, and future-state technology landscapes.

This role will drive forward a roadmap of modernization and optimization, managing all relationships with technology vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing and executing technology strategies that drive business growth and innovation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive design, development, and implementation of technology needs.
  • Establish and drive a technology modernization roadmap, enabling speed of delivery and cost optimizations.
  • Manage 24/7 technology operations and continuously optimize usage of infrastructure towards cost optimization.
  • Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, safeguarding data and technology assets.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with SVP/C-level stakeholders and other key leaders on strategic initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and make informed decisions regarding technology resource acquisition and services, always prioritizing cost effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead a global team of 40-50 members consisting of development and quality engineers, architects, infrastructure and operations engineers.
  • Manage and guide employees and vendors, participate in hiring and termination processes.
  • Develop and grow people, build needed skillsets, establish career paths, and succession plans.
  • Identify gaps and recruit top talent.
