Job Title:
Accounts Receivable Specialist

The role of an Accounts Receivable Specialist is pivotal in the efficient management of insurance claims. The individual in this position will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing unpaid or underpaid claims, identifying billing and coding issues, and resolving these discrepancies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denial reasons to understand the root cause of payment delays.
  • Initiating outbound calls to insurance companies to resolve outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure continuous improvement and process efficiency.
  • Documenting all activities in the system following established protocols.
  • Meeting productivity and quality targets.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year's experience in AR Calling (US Healthcare).
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of denials, rejections, and appeals processes.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Willingsness to work in night shifts (US time zone).
