Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our software quality through the development and execution of quality assurance processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to cover all aspects of software functionality, including manual and automated tests.
  • Ensure test setup and test environment preparedness.
  • Identify test data requirements and prepare test data sets for efficient testing.
  • Review test cases to ensure thorough coverage of tests as per the Test strategy.

Test Automation:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, and TestComplete.
  • Automate regression testing to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Conduct performance testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimization.

Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the team.

Defect Analysis:

  • Support in review and analysis of defects logged and implement corrective and preventive actions effectively.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the software development lifecycle and collaborate with teams to mitigate them.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the QA function and advocate for best practices in software quality assurance.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of testing requirements.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
