Network Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team. As a Network Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support for network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance via phone, email, or chat to resolve network-related issues.
  • Research and troubleshoot network problems using established procedures and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve network issues.
  • Develop and implement solutions to prevent future network issues.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of network protocols and concepts, including SSH, FTP, ICMP, TCP/IP (IPv4 & IPv6), Network Address Translation (NAT), SNMP, IPSec, GRE, QoS, and VLANs.
  • Experience with Meraki and Fortinet firewalls.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
  • Experience with network traffic analysis tools, such as Ethereal (Wireshark).
  • Ability to interpret output from network monitoring tools.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in network support or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
