Network Infrastructure Specialist

As a seasoned Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and performance of our network infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining various network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain various network devices and services to ensure optimal network performance.
  • Performance Optimization: Schedule upgrades and collaborate with network architects on network optimization to maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, and outages.
  • Security Measures: Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access, and reporting network operational status.

As a Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will also work with partners to ensure that their networks are configured and maintained to support the levels of availability required. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Visio diagrams, SOPs, and documentation updates.

To succeed in this position, you should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, security devices, and load balancers. Experience with industry-standard devices and technologies like Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, and Riverbed is highly desirable.

A good understanding of ITIL knowledge and communication skills are also essential. If you have experience with CCNP voice or wireless certifications, it's a plus.
