The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development and hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI technologies such as Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications using Python, architecting robust backend systems, and integrating AI capabilities into existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Python with a focus on backend and infrastructure development.">
  • Build and optimize GenAI-based agentic systems, leveraging frameworks for autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents.">
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize language model performance for task-specific use cases.">
  • Architect and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end and external systems.">
  • Design and develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems for efficient, dynamic information retrieval and response generation.">
  • Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL for data storage and management.">
  • Utilize Docker to containerize services and ensure consistency across environments.">
  • Contribute to and maintain a microservices architecture for scalable and modular system design.">
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore innovative applications of GenAI in the payment technology space.">
  • Work with version control systems (Git) to manage codebase and collaborate effectively with the team.">
  • Use modern development tools including Vibe to streamline and accelerate development workflows.">
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in GenAI, ML frameworks, and best practices in AI agent development.">

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in backend development using Python.">
  • Strong experience with object-oriented programming and backend software engineering.">
  • Experience working with any AI Agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel).">
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.">
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).">
  • Proficiency with version control tools, especially Git.">
  • Familiarity with Docker for containerization and environment replication.">
  • Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.">
  • Working knowledge of Vibe or similar AI coding tools.">
  • Solid understanding and experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering).">
