Job Description

Position: SAP GTS Consultant (Edition for HANA)

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid, with possibility of full-time on-site)

Experience Required: 3+ years

Required Skills & Qualifications

SAP GTS Expertise

- Hands-on experience in SAP GTS configuration and management across:

- Compliance Management
- Customs Management
- Preference Management
- Intrastat Reporting

Edition for HANA

- Strong technical knowledge of SAP GTS Edition for HANA (E4H), including:

- Feature enhancements
- Performance optimization
- Integration capabilities

Customs & Trade Compliance

- In-depth understanding of:

- Global trade regulations
- Customs requirements
- Export controls
- Trade agreements (e.g., FTAs)

Technical Skills

- Experience with SAP HANA for:

- Performance optimization
- Reporting
- Real-time data processing in global trade contexts

System Integration

- Integration experience between SAP GTS and:

- SAP MM, SD, FICO modules
- External systems for end-to-end trade operations

Analytical & Problem-Solving

- Ability to:

- Analyze complex trade & compliance business requirements
- Recommend and implement optimal solutions

Project & Communication Skills

- Experience in SAP GTS implementation or upgrade projects
- Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP Certification in Global Trade Services or SAP HANA
- Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions and integration with SAP GTS

Note

- Consultant must be Bangalore-based
- Hybrid work model for now, but must be willing to work from office full-time if required
